What we store, and why
Strictly necessary
- Authentication session — set by Supabase when you sign in, so the platform knows you are logged in. Without it you cannot use your account.
Functional (browser local storage)
- One response per device — when a survey owner enables this option, a small marker (
samplesay:responded:<survey>) is stored in the respondent’s browser so the same device is not counted twice. It contains no personal data. - Cookie choice — when you answer the cookie banner on our website, your choice is stored in your browser (
samplesay:cookie-consent) so we do not ask again on every visit. It records only your answer. - Interface preferences — we may remember small pieces of UI state (such as a partly-completed response or your last view) to make the product smoother to use.
What we do not use
We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party cross-site tracking or analytics-for-advertising cookies.
Managing cookies and storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser’s settings, and you can block cookies entirely. Note that blocking the strictly-necessary authentication session will prevent you from signing in.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
